  Wow, what an incredible day! Was once again reminded of God's glory. It's easy to get caught up in whatever we are personally trying to accomplish, but when we just stand back and look at what's around us (especially during the fall season, ha), it certainly refocuses. God is the ultimate creative mind here!
If you're ever in Wisconsin (or if you're already here) during the fall months, check out Holy Hill. So beautiful.

:: Garden of the Gods

What a place.

Last week Thursday we took a trip as part our photography class to Garden of the Gods. It was incredible! I could've spent all day there, easily. Mountains are a part of creation that captivate me. They exceed all expectation.
Here is an overview of what I saw; a few images that describe the Garden well.

"And the waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen."
- Genesis 8:5

Enjoy & leave a comment!

:: Family Shoot

As part of the photography class I took last week, our largest assignment was a client shoot. We had about an hour and a half to get 25 quality images of a family that was chosen for us. I was working with another student, and we both had to have 25 images each, in that amount of time. Ha - It was a test of our time-management skills, to say the least. Fortunately, working with people is something I thoroughly enjoy. That helped. Still though, it was a stretching experience!

This family was a joy to photograph. Their children were very sweet: the little girl was an introvert and wasn't a big fan of the camera. Despite that fact, she barely fussed and was pretty chill with being "in the light". And the little guy, who is 8 months old, was a complete extravert. It was great! He had the largest eyes, and didn't mind showing them off. :) It was a blast.

Chris and Valeen (Mom and Dad) were very kind and willing to work with me and the other student to get some great shots! It was a very good learning experience as a whole, and I am so thankful for it.

Looking ahead,

Ethan
